Fitness and health are not about losing weight, and spending time in the gym. The key is in little, daily habits, which will make your body and mind better.

Start with movement. Even light jogging or a 20-30 minutes walk, exercising at home can help a person increase energy, as well as, strengthen the heart and improve the mood. Exercise makes the body active and it lowers the chances of various lifestyle diseases.

Nutrition is also important. Balanced meals of fruits, vegetables and proteins and whole grains will provide you with the energy to perform well in your body. Proper consumption of water and eating less processed foods can be a great way to improve health in general.

Rest is equally important. A good sleep enables the body to rest, rebuild muscles as well as being able to be focused. Even the most appropriate workouts and diet will not be as effective without proper rest.

Balance is, after all, all about health and fitness. Exercise, eat, sleep enough, and be very regular. Minor choices made everyday can create a more energetic, stronger and healthier life.
