AI Liberating Africa: Unlocking Creativity and Productivity in Kenya and Beyond

In Kenya and across Africa, Artificial Intelligence is fast becoming less of a novelty and more of a household tool. Nairobi-based startups and continental small businesses are beginning to use AI tools to automate daily tasks, increase efficiency in customer service and engagements and get more work done at a faster rate. Entrepreneurs are using AI graphic design tools to create professional graphics, record videos and edit them for marketing purposes, create blogs and content for their websites and AI powered-writing-tools to write books or their website copy. Some are learning how to code and build websites using AI tools that do not require advanced knowledge or skill-sets. Students are learning how to use AI to keep up with class work that they don’t understand, generate articeLs on all sorts of topics and receive tutoring. Business owners are building AI chatbots and AI automation systems to help answer frequently asked questions by customers, manage webstores and automate day-to-day business tasks.
